The health and safety of our attendees, vendors, guests, and staff is our top priority. Through public health organizations like the Center for Disease Control, Pima County Health Department and City of Tucson, we are staying updated on the latest developments as they occur.
Per the Tucson Convention Center COVID-19 Update, there are no restrictions on attendees, nor required proof of vaccination status in order to attend an event at the Tucson Convention Center.
Attending large scale events is a matter of personal choice to be determined by the individual.
Tucson Comic-Con will continue to monitor the situation and make policy adjustments as we feel necessary. We will follow any updated mandates from the Tucson Convention Center, the City of Tucson, and/or the State of Arizona in regard to mask wearing, vaccination status, and physical distancing.
CDC Interim Public Health Recommendations for Fully Vaccinated People
The recommendation for fully vaccinated people is to wear a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission.
Fully vaccinated people may choose to wear a mask regardless of the level of transmission, particularly if they are immunocompromised or at an increased risk of severe disease from COVID-19, or if they have someone in their household who is immunocompromised, at an increased risk of severe disease, or not fully vaccinated.
Fully vaccinated people who have a known exposure to someone with a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 infection should be tested 3-5 days after exposure, and should wear a mask in public indoor settings for 14 days, or until they receive a negative test result.
