What is Tucson Comic-Con?
Tucson Comic-Con is a community-based pop culture experience for all that reflects today’s fandom and the unique nature of Tucson, Arizona and the American Southwest. At Tucson Comic-Con, you’ll get to indulge in all your favorite fantasy, sci-fi and other pop culture genres, such as comics, games, film, television and more! You’ll also get to attend panels and workshops hosted by creative pros, as well as get autographs and photo ops with your favorite creators and celebrities!
Tucson Comic-Con also hosts a large exhibit hall were you’ll find everything from major companies offering their latest products to local artists and craftsmen selling their unique wares.
When and where does Tucson Comic-Con take place?
The 2024 Tucson Comic-Con will be held August 30th – September 1st, 2024 at the Tucson Convention Center in Downtown Tucson, Arizona.
How much does it cost to attend Tucson Comic-Con?

How may I get a creator or celebrity autograph?
Creator and celebrity guest autographs are offered at the sole discretion of Tucson Comic-Con guests. A couple of important things to note:
- Comic industry pros (creators, writers, artists, etc.) will often sign autographs free of charge, or in exchange for a donation to a charitable organization, but always be polite and ask first.
- Celebrity guests (actors, directors, producers, television, Internet personalities, etc.) often charge a fee for autographs or offer photos and other memorabilia for sale that they’ll autograph at no additional charge. Their pricing is usually posted at their tables.
We ask all attendees to please be respectful and courteous to Tucson Comic-Con’s creator and celebrity guests, as they are taking time out of their busy schedules to meet their fans.
How may I get a photo op with a celebrity guest?
Some of our celebrity guests may offer photo ops with attendees for a fee. Photo op pricing and availability varies from guest to guest and we recommend checking at their tables for more information.
What is a Q&A panel and how and where do I attend one?
Q&A panels are sessions that showcase a specific topic or convention guest. These panels provide a great opportunity to ask questions, learn things about the industry or get inside scoops on the upcoming projects of creators or celebrity guests.
Generally speaking, Q&A panels are FREE to all paid attendees of Tucson Comic-Con, but do note that certain panels can be “workshops” that may charge a small fee. Information about Q&A panels and their locations within Tucson Comic-Con will be posted as scheduling information becomes available for the 2024 show.
May I come to Tucson Comic-Con in costume?
Absolutely! In fact, we completely encourage fans to express themselves in their favorite costumes at Tucson Comic-Con! For those of you that have a performance or competitive streak, we also host annual costume contests in both Adult and Youth competition categories!

May I take photos or record video at Tucson Comic-Con?
Photography and video recording is permitted in most areas of Tucson Comic-Con, but please remember to be respectful to other attendees, guests, exhibitors, volunteers and facility staff and ask permission to take photos or videos of or with them beforehand.
Some exhibitors and guests may request either verbally or through signage that no photography or video recording shall occur at their tables, booths, or during their Q&A panels. When in doubt, please ask first!
