After party update #1 Friday Night

The Kick off Event at Flycatcher (the fb evite can be found here) will be $10 to the general public and half off ($5) to all BADGE HOLDERS so come on down after load in and enjoy the show. Revenge of the Nerdlesque will open things up around 930-ish, followed by comedians from the Tucson Comedy Arts Festival. Then a special performance by the PANGS. DJ’s Tommy Defekt and Erupt will be playing booty jams throughout the night as we inaugurate our first preview night mixer.

After our big Saturday costume contest remember the fun continues. The Saturday parties will be spread thru downtown and 4th avenue all along the trolly/light rail route (fb evite) with a special scavenger hunt to be announced tomorrow.  All of the saturday parties are free to the public so definitely scout them all. With Playground and Hotel Congress transforming into Ten Forward and Mos Eisley Cantina respectivly and Flycatcher hosting an arcade night for all the gamers ( secret bonus event within this event tba tomorrow…stay tuned). Also, recently added was the Surly Wench as a Thunderdome curated party (fb evite here).

Comic Con After Parties

We will be hosting 2 nights of Parties post Convention. Night one will be the kickoff Mixer and Social at the The Flycatcher Lounge.  And night 2 will be a scavenger hunt on 3 different worlds hosted at The Flycatcher, Hotel Congress, and Playground.  GO join the Facebook invites as we will be adding more and more details up until the nights of the events.

25 Days and Counting!

We will be counting down all the things with only 25 days left til Tucson Comic Con.  Stay up to date on all our posts as we will be giving away tickets at various engagements around town.  Street Team Sarah the one woman army will be popping up at all kinds of venues over the next couple weeks so start following on the FB for your Chance to Win.  Also, Tucson Monthly will be giving away tickets too.  They will be hosting the after parties this year and if you want to a chance to win you should go give their page a like (inset thumbs up emoticon here).  Speaking of the after parties…….we have so much party for you this year.  With a Friday night Kickoff Mixer and Variety Show at The Flycatcher and 3 more parties at various locales on Saturday there will be more than enough things to do post con day 2. And Don’t forget the All Souls Procession Sunday the 8th. After Con is over join 100,ooo+ people in a non denominational procession that celebrates the lives and passings of loved ones and the changing of the season. If that wasn’t enough, between here and Comic Con (that sounds like a book title..or a band name…note to self) BETWEEN HERE & COMIC CON (nice, I like it ) there will be a slew of events to take in as October is easily one of Tucson’s busiest months.
