Getting her start with Ryan Kincaid on Persuasion, she has since worked with many indie publishers such as Coffin Comics, Zenescope, Big Dog Ink, Mount Olympus and many more. Marissa also enjoys drawing things outside of the world of comics. Cartoons and video game characters really catch her interest, like Darkstalkers, Dragons Crown and Disney, just to name a few!
