The Bubba Patrol, Welcome to Pleasant Falls
John Anthony Chihak Soltero, or “JACS”, is a Tucson native who’s been drawing his entire life, and self-publishing comics for eighteen years. John’s defining moment was in the early 1990’s when he purchased a copy of The Punisher War Journal 44 at a Circle K down the street from his childhood home. He’s been creating and developing characters that mirror this intensity ever since.
John graduated college in 2004 with a BA in Animation and went on to create several comic series, such as Bubba Patrol, Fuzzyface, and Youth in Asia. He is currently working on his next project, the horror comic Welcome to Pleasant Falls, and adding character and concept design to his portfolio. Perhaps the next time you see the name John Anthony Chihak Soltero it will be in the credits of a slick animated feature.
