2017 is the third year that we brought in children from Diamond Children’s Hospital Tucson Medical Center and the Ronald McDonald House for a unique Tucson Comic-Con experience. The families are invited in cooperation with the child life advocates at each Tucson Hospital.
Each child got gift bags the VIP treatment and free comics donated by local Tucson Comic Shops:
Heroes and Villains Comic Book store https://www.facebook.com/HeroesandVillainsTucson/
Charlie’s Comic Books
https://www.facebook.com/TucsonComicGuru/
and Fantasy Comics Tucson Arizona!

Be sure to show them the love!
They then were greeted by our professional costume groups before going Booth to Booth meeting and personally for photo Ops 1 hour before the door opens for the general public! Huge thanks go to the donors of merchandise for these kids, the Child Life Advocates that help make this happen, and the Tucson Comic-Con senior staff that allow the Cosplay Department to do this every year for them!
