Happy Friday, everyone!
Our next round of confirmed guests for TCC 2018 include legendary puppeteer Kirk R. Thatcher, writer/artist Sina Grace and cosplay artists Sean Rhoades and Coral Vann!
KIRK R. THATCHER began at age nineteen working at Industrial Light and Magic, creating and puppeteering creatures for blockbusters such as Return of the Jedi, Star Trek II, Star Trek III, E.T., Poltergeist, and Gremlins. He is also well-known for his work on The Muppets and as one of the creators and puppeteers of Dinosaurs.
SINA GRACE is a writer, artist, and- because he started at the age of 17- a comics veteran. He has drawn several series (Burn the Orphanage, Lil’ Depressed Boy), worked as Editorial Director for Walking Deadcreator Robert Kirkman’s Skybound imprint at Image Comics, and produced a web-series off his graphic novel, Self-Obsessed, which he also starred in. Nothing Lasts Forever is his latest entry into reflective memoir, and he currently writes Iceman for Marvel Comics.
SEAN RHOADES is a cosplay entertainer. Originally from Akron Ohio, Sean Rhoades now resides in Phoenix, Arizona. Sean has been “cause/cosplaying” since 2011 but has been costuming and performing since childhood. Sean’s cosplays span from all over pop culture. His cosplay name, Smolder Cosplay, comes from one of his favorite early cosplays of Flynn Rider from the Disney movie Tangled. When Sean isn’t in costume he enjoys hobbies like camping, hiking, and playing guitar.
CORAL VANN is cosplayer based in Arizona and travelsto conventions all around the country. She’s a big fan of old school cartoons, comic books, retro gaming, and anime. She loves hiking, camping, exploring new places, meeting new people and playing pretend in costume…otherwise known as cosplaying!
