Ready for the next round of guests for TCC 2018? Patty Hawkins is returning as our official emcee and panel moderator and we’re also adding comic industry pros Samantha Sawyer and Travis Hanson, as well as fantasy author Marsheila Rockwell!
PATTY HAWKINS returns as our official emcee and panel moderator. He’s a is a geek theorist, comedian, film critic, writer, historian and gadfly. A frequent emcee, panelist, moderator and celebrity interviewer at conventions, he has become known for his entertainingly comprehensive and interactive interview style.
SAMANTHA SAWYER (Sincerely Sam) is an up and coming comic illustrator. Best known for her covers for Coffin Comics’ Lady Death: Dragon Wars #1 and Big Dog Ink’s Penny for your Soul. Samantha is also the creator of The Fae and the Fern Tarot Deck and Catspiracy. You can find Samantha on social media under Sincerely Sam.
TRAVIS HANSON is an Eisner-nominated fantasy illustrator with a huge imagination. His works include comics, children’s art, fantasy and just fun illustrations that encourages the need for people to be creative.
MARSHEILA ROCKWELL is the author of twelve books to date. Her work includes Mafia III: Plain of Jars, co-written with writing partner/husband Jeff Mariotte and based on the hit video game; 7 SYKOS, a near future SF/H thriller (also with Mariotte); The Shard Axe series, the only official novels that tie into the popular fantasy MMORPG, Dungeons & Dragons Online; an urban fantasy trilogy based on Neil Gaiman’s Lady Justice comic books; a trilogy based on the TV series Xena: Warrior Princess (co-written with Mariotte); dozens of short stories and poems; multiple articles on writing and the writing process; and a handful of comic book scripts.
