JAMES O’BARR is best known for creating The Crow, but he is also an accomplished painter. James currently resides in Texas and can be seen at most of the comic conventions in and around that state.
James is the creator of the world renowned bestselling graphic novel and title character, “The Crow” – a dark metaphorical comic book that led to the famous movie adaptation starring the late Brandon Lee (in his final role) in 1994, as well as a few sequels, a TV series, and several other comic spin-offs. The Crow was originally published by Caliber Comics in 1989, and has a dedicated fan base. James is also collaborating on a new Crow film in development.
