Tucson Comic-Con is proud to announce that Brian & Kristy Miller of Hi-Fi Color and award-winning artist Jeffrey J. Mariotte will be joining us for the 2018 show!
BRIAN & KRISTY MILLER are the founders of digital color studio Hi-Fi Colour Design. The team at Hi-Fi colors comics like Justice League, The Flash, Superman, Scooby Apocalypse, Doctor Who, SpongeBob, and more. As the authors of several art-instruction books including; Hi-Fi Color for Comics, the creative duo is also focused on art education. They created Hi-Fi Academy as an outreach program where they visit schools and art galleries to share comic art education with the public. Hi-Fi Academy also offers three-day workshops for aspiring creators who want learn professional skills fast. In addition to his work coloring comics, Brian is also a respected illustrator known for his work for Star Wars, The X-Files, GI Joe, Archer, Rick & Morty, and Doctor Who as well as his pop culture and gallery artwork.
JEFFREY J. MARIOTTE is the award-winning author of more than 70 novels, including thrillers Empty Rooms and The Devil’s Bait, supernatural thrillers Season of the Wolf, Missing White Girl, River Runs Red, and Cold Black Hearts, horror epic The Slab, the Dark Vengeance teen horror quartet, and others, including works set in the worlds of Narcos, Deadlands, Buffy and Angel, Supernatural, Superman, Spider-Man, 30 Days of Night, The Shield, CSI, NCIS, and more. With partner and wife Marsheila Rockwell, he wrote the science fiction/horror/thriller 7 SYKOS and the video game tie-in Mafia III: Plain of Jars, and has published numerous short stories. He also writes comics, including the long-running horror/Western series Desperadoes and original graphic novels Zombie Cop and Fade to Black. He was VP of Marketing for Image Comics/WildStorm, Senior Editor for DC Comics/WildStorm, and the first Editor-in-Chief for IDW Publishing.
